what a great idea – I must look up some, I pay so little attention when they make the promises in the first place. I remember what Pat Rabbitte said about election promises and what they were worth …

Liz, What Pat Rabbitte said was that you keep slogans on posters simple and short. He has been consistently misrepresented since.
