We’re delighted to be helping to organise a half-day free workshop for community journalists, run by the London-based [Centre for Investigative Journalism (CIJ)](https://tcij.org/about-cij/?ref=dublininquirer.com).

The course will be held on 15 February in Lucky’s on Meath Street, from 12pm to 4pm.

Training will cover different tools for reporting, looking at the basics of advanced search as well as useful databases and websites for investigators. There’ll be a real-life case study to play with, too.

There are 15 spaces up for grabs, so if you’re interested send me an email at sam@dublininquirer.com, with a max 250 words on who you are and how you think you’d benefit from the workshop.
