Alyson Kilpatrick

Alyson Kilpatrick studied law at Queens University Belfast, the Inns of Court School of Law London and the College of Europe Bruges. She has extensive experience of litigation in the higher courts in a range of public law and human-rights cases. From 2009 to 2017, she was the independent human-rights legal advisor to the Northern Ireland Policing Board. Her Irish Council for Civil Liberties-commissioned report "A Human Rights-Based Approach to Policing in Ireland" was published in September 2018.
