What would become of the Civic Offices on Wood Quay if the council relocates?
After The Currency reported the idea of the council moving its HQ, councillors were talking about and thinking through the pros and cons and implications.
If you like reading Dublin Inquirer, maybe you know other people who would as well?
If so, you can give them a one-year Digital + Print subscription so they'll get unlimited access to all our articles without hitting the paywall – including the new ones we publish each Wednesday and Friday, and the archive going back to 2015. They'll also get the print edition in the post each month.
And from now until Christmas, we're offering these gift subscriptions at 20% off our standard price for a year's subscription.
If you'd like, we can post you a gift certificate and/or copy of the paper to put under the tree on the day. And you can buy the gift subscription now, and set the start date as 25 December, so it's a secret until then.
This is a once-off payment, these subscriptions do not automatically renew.
The confirmation email you get after purchasing a gift subscription will ask you to reply with details on where to send a gift certificate/paper for you to wrap up and put under the tree, and also the recipient's postal address, so we can start sending them the monthly print edition after the subscription starts.
If you have any questions, or special requests, you can ask editor Sam Tranum by email at sam@dublininquirer.com, or by messenging or ringing 0873924797.
