Drug-policy book club, anyone?

It's hard to make time to read behind the headlines, we know. 

But if you've had it in your mind to wrestle a bit more with the future of drug policy in Ireland, we would love it if you would join us for a "book club" on the question.

The idea is for participants to read at least the summary of evidence, and recommendations – but as much as they want – of the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Drugs Use's final report, which recommends decriminalisation of possession of drugs for personal use.

Then, we'll come together (in person) at a venue in the city centre, to talk, in good faith and with care, about the recommendations, the concerns, and the realities.

We announced this book club on Friday in our Dublin News newsletter, and so already have a small group signed up already.
