Brendan Kenny had a simple response to Dublin City Councillors who asked where people who had been living in overcrowded and dangerous premises in the city had moved on to, after those places were shut down.
“The simple answer to that is, we don’t know. We don’t know where people have gone to,” said the council’s head of housing.
