As government support for sheltering Ukrainian refugees dwindles, finding somewhere to live means taking more risks
“I understand now how valuable it is to help each other. How important it is to have a roof over your head, to have community.”
“I am greatly inspired by the landscape of my childhood, Mill Lane in Palmerstown and head out to photograph it as often as possible.”
The mare we call Cappuccino crosses the fields of Mill Lane at sunset. This is the original Liffey Valley. A magical landscape in the small suburb of Dublin, Palmerstown. Steeped in local history, the River Liffey runs by and it is overlooked by the Farmleigh clock tower nestled in the woods above. It is the countryside, but a stone’s throw from the city centre.
I am a natural light photographer from Dublin. I am greatly inspired by the landscape of my childhood, Mill Lane in Palmerstown and head out to photograph it as often as possible. I also work with small business owners to capture the atmosphere of their brand through photography. You will find me mostly hanging out on Instagram, where I am @miss0una, and my website is uoconnor.com.
