The County and City Management Association is "preparing a business case for the Department of Housing for additional staff for Housing Delivery across all local authorities”, a council spokesperson said.
When I’m doing street art, I usually bring everything I need. But not today. I set up my miniature house with desperate tenants opposite the Dáil, a work inspired by the artist Slinkachu, and realised I had forgotten my SD card for my camera. I stood there wondering what to do and an elderly gentleman started taking snaps of my little world. His name is Eamon Martin and as we talked he showed me the pictures he’d taken. It was at that point that I could see a collaboration was on the cards. Not only were his photos sharp and warm but his easy-going personality won me over. Afterwards, we spent more than an hour talking about old Dublin over coffee. That’s what I love about our city, everyday is an opportunity to meet someone new and work together.
