Opened in the 18th century, the graving docks are part of Ringsend’s Georgian maritime heritage, says Rachel Lopez of the Ringsend and District Historical Society.
We’re Back from Our Holiday Break, Working Away, but We’re Not Publishing Today
It’s just it takes us some time after we get back to ramp up – to find, report, write and edit articles. We’ll return to our regular publishing schedule from next Wednesday.
Happy New Year! We hope you’re all doing okay, under the circumstances, and got a bit of a break over the holidays.
We’ve all been back at work from the start of the week, finding, reporting, writing and editing articles about the city. But it just takes us a little time to ramp back up, so we’re not publishing this week.
We’ll be back to our normal schedule of publishing a new online edition each Wednesday morning, from next Wednesday. And the print edition will come out the middle of this month, as usual.
If you have ideas for things we should be writing about, or projects we should be working on this year, or if you have questions, or concerns, you can reach us at info@dublininquirer.com.
Thanks, always, for all the support you give us, from kind messages, to story tips, to being willing to let us interview you and share your stories, to recommending us to people who might be interested in reading, to subscribing, to all the other lovely things you all do for us.
We’re looking forward to collaborating with you this year again.
We ask people to subscribe to help us do what we do, so it feels fair to tell you all where we are financially, and what we'd spend that subscription income on.
We’re always asking you all to subscribe, and many of you do, so here’s a look at the latest on where the money goes – and other details of how we run the paper.
