Councillors and residents in Clontarf haven’t yet agreed on how to solve the long-running dispute over the need for walls, and the desire for views.
On Monday evening, Chief Executive Owen Keegan presented councillors with the targets by which the council will measure whether it’s doing a good job delivering services.
We can’t kick everybody out of Clontarf and Sandymount. So we’d better have a good plan for how to protect them from flooding, which means more than building a view-blocking wall.
