“I just cannot get over that they didn’t maintain the same level of funding at a minimum, because it’s a bloody great scheme,” says Fine Gael Councillor Tom O’Leary, of the homelessness-prevention scheme.

Toto the Ninja Cat and the Legend of the Wildcat, Reviewed
“This book is exciting because they keep having new mysteries to solve and there are a lot of surprises – and it is funny!” writes our seven-year-old reviewer.
In this book a cat named Toto is on a mission to find out the truth about the legendary Scottish wildcat, but she can’t use ninja moves because she is undercover.
We found out in earlier books that Toto’s brother, Silver, works as Toto’s “eyes” because she is almost blind. In this book, her boss, Larry, sent Toto and her friends from London to a correctional camp for naughty animals to find out what was going on, but the camp has a secret.
I like the fact that they must team up with their arch-enemy, Archduke Ferdicat. My favourite character was Socks, the tiniest brother of Toto and Silver, because he knows the most about the camp and the animals there. He knew the weaknesses of the bad guys and all about the gang they would face at the correctional camp.
I also liked that our heroes keep getting saved by someone but they don’t know who – when you read it you think it might be someone, but it might not be that character.
I would recommend this book to everyone. It would be especially fun for kids who like reading about cats with jobs. You don’t need to read all of the other books in the series first, but it helps to read one of them so you know how Larry got to be Toto’s boss, and you’ll understand something the archduke says in this book.
This book is exciting because they keep having new mysteries to solve and there are a lot of surprises – and it is funny! I hope the next one comes out soon.
