The council intends to carry out a wider culling of street clutter too, according to the new draft city development plan. But the last plan said that too.
It’s unclear yet how Dublin City Council will meet its target of reducing street clutter by 20 percent by 2022, but other counties, such as Cork, may provide a blueprint.
