T?his cover design highlights the wildlife and seasonal influence of Dublin, bringing forward these characters in urban space against a background of wintry environs. This piece aims to remind us of the non-human elements around us and the impact we make on the environment and animal life. Visually, the reduced palette of winter – sparse, pale, a strong contrast between bright and dark – is used to portray a quieter and more introspective time of year as well.
